The Department of Hindi was started on 14 February 2006 with a student strength of 10 and Dr.Shaik Moulali as academic coordinator . During the academic year 2006-2007 M.A. Hindi was started with a student strength of 16 and Dr.Moulali started M.A. Hindi classes. Later Pros P.Adeswara Rao was appointed as visiting Professor and coordinator on 12-02-2007. During 2007-2008, 20 students joined M.A. Hindi. All the students of the first batch passed M.A. in first class and 9 secured distinction among them. A separate building, is being constructed, called "Hindi Bhavan".
