Academic Achievements
A comprehensive program of natural product acquisition bioscreening, bio-assay-directed isolation, spectroscopic and degradative means of structure determination, biotesting, molecular mode of action studies, analog production, via partial and total chemical synthesis and directed biosynthesis studies is underway. This includes the active collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Industries and overseas laboratories like, USA, UK, Japan, China, Hungary, and Korea. Specialized area: anticancer agents broadcasted several programmes in All India Radio, T.V, in Newspapers under science improvement programmes. M.Phil thesis submitted 2.
