Acharya Nagarjuna University has established the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Technology in 1987 to offer Post-Graduate and Research Programs in the field of Electronics and Instrumentation Technology. The aim of these programmes is to provide the necessary theoretical background and practical experience to cater the need of R & D organizations and industries. To meet the ever-growing demands of the industry. The course curriculum has been designed in collaboration with industries. The curriculum has the core subjects like Analytical Instrumentation, Bio-Medical Instrumentation, Opto-Electronics and Laser Instrumentation, Industrial In Instrumentation, Process Control Instrumentation, Microprocessors and Interfacing, PC Based Instrumentation, Virtual Instrumentation, Embedded and Real Time Systems, DSP Processors and Architecture, VLSI Design. The department has a well equipped dedicated laboratories for Process Control, Analytical, Bio Medical and Industrial Instrumentation along with DSP and VLSI Design laboratories. Apart from these, the department also has a workshop with two Lathe machines to cater need of mechanical designs of the department.
